The mediocre teacher tells.  The good teacher explains.  The superior teacher demonstrates.  The great teacher inspires.          ~William Arthur Ward

Hello all,

My name is Rena Kassa, I am an intelligent, determined, inventive young woman with aspirations. I am currently a Language Acquisition Aide in the Warren Consolidated School district. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Wayne State University College of Education. My major is English and my minor is ESL. I have always had a passion for teaching. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been a great educator. Coming from a family of 4 brothers and 2 sisters, I carry with me a lot of love and patience. I believe that learning is what life is all about. Where would anyone be without someone to teach him or her the way of life? Teaching is not only about gaining information, but it is also about gaining knowledge for every day life. I have worked with many people and they have said many great things about me. One administrator has stated that I have special qualities innate to successful teachers, which would allow me to do a tremendous job in the classroom. He also said that I do not disappoint him. He told me that I have developed a great rapport with students, parents, teachers, and administrators during my time at the school.  I have impressed upon everyone that I am not afraid to face and solve problems. When student or parent management became a challenge, I talked to them and modeled with them effective conflict-resolution habits.  I work with and help students and parents to the best of my ability. I will not disappoint my students.

A Warm Welcome
